Isle of Eigg
Linocut
Spending time on the Isle of Eigg last year brought some new designs and elements to my expressive art.
There is a rich history and culture on the Island of Eigg. It has an inspiring community, with the roots of crofting life still evident within the landscape and kept alive in new ways or methods by the Islanders.
Norwegian Hytte
-Linocut
Norwegians have a way that speaks louder than words. They invest in time, time spent in their country. Walking miles, skiing miles, maybe running miles, to reach a place to be without running water or electricity and be.
I drew this image, then made the drawing into a linocut. On the back end of a trip out there last year.
This print is also available in black and white.
