Sgurr á Mháim & Stob Ban

This painting was sketched in pen and worked in Indian Ink, pastel and paint. A sketch was loosely done in the sketchbook after coming off and evening run on these hills. The light was failing yet I still had the complete journey to tell through pen to paper. This larger scale work was created from the initial drawing studies. Running over these hills and getting to know them continues to nourish and surprise me.
